This week was not too difficult. Unfortunately you will notice a certain lack in quality in a few pictures...such is the case when pressed on time or a certain feeling of laziness.
September 2: Spices
I was quite excited to have a truly "spice" filled picture to take on the very first day of a spicy week! as you will notice, there is hardly anything spicy left to be found about this post. The gingerbread cake that these spices spiced up was delicious.September 3: Feeling Blue
Tim, Nick, and Nate left Seam and I at home with my parents while they went on a backpacking trip. We went on a trip up to a "Big Tree" park because "Who has more fun than us?" Along the way we stopped and got some delightful blue mountain dew. It was delicious, and made for a perfect photo opp. ;)
September 4: "A pic of a pic"
Or of a number of pictures I should say. I had not taken a picture on this day, most likely because I was busy doing any number of other things. suffice to say, I was lying in bed and realized I hadn't taken a picture. So, seeing as how I had been on the verge of sleep, I switched on my light, snapped a shot of my wall, and promptly went back to bed. This picture really is important to me though, because of all the wonderful people that are seen in the photos.
September 5: Hang man
That was a very long day. We got up at a decent time so my mom could make some phone calls and we could leave in enough time to make it to an open interview Nick was going for. I decided to join him in the interview process, and so began the wait until about 4:30 when we finally went home to return the next day to only wait an hour. Talk about tiring. Anyways, Jason, Nick and I played hang man. I made him dance because I mean really, who wouldn't want to dance instead of hang?September 6: Clouds
Some of you may know, but I have a fascination with clouds. After we got home the next day the sunset looked beautiful. Along with sunset pictures these clouds were glowing, so I took a few of them as well. so beautiful!
September 7: Folding Chairs
We went to my brother and sister-in-laws house. We spent a wonderful evening there, and although I took our Nikon, I didn't end up getting it out. I took my smaller camera out and took a couple videos on my little brother trying to dive. It was fantastic! But somehow I didn't take a picture and only took videos. They had these chairs though that reminded me of the ones at school and all the trouble many of us had ripping our pants on them. Then there were the many times that a certain young man would forget to wither lock the chair or unlock the chair to sit up and it caused much merriment. :)
Sptember 8: As with the 4th, I went to bed and realized I hadn't taken a picture. Unlike the 4th, I simply closed my eyes and went to sleep. what was there to take a picture of besides the photos above my bed, and I had already used that this week. Maybe I will use my wall as an excuse whenever I forget to take a picture...
Melissa, your posts make me smile. I miss you.
